i'm not sure. i think it is lacking somewhere but i don't know what i want to add. i think i just need to sleep on it.

I like it a lot.

The four doors are a bit odd. They kinda' frame the central image but don't need to. Otherwise you could keep the doors and add more details in the aqua outline, hand drawn looking woodgrain bench could be cool.

Perhaps some shading would add depth, or the ghosty figure could be less sold, screening to show transperency?

I actually really like it as is, just some thoughts.

I think the presentation of the sub could also do with some work. When people are voting i imagine that how it is all presented counts for a lot.

Maybe you can add some wrinkles to the hat and a bit more detail to the background.

Submit it -- you're style and characters are awesome. Threadless still needs a decent cookin'-shirt. (That's why I made one with the leek and a onion^^) So this design is a winner.

Maybe make whatever he is cooking more interesting.

thanks for giving me some input. it seems like everyone is in agreement that it needs a little more but it's hard to put a finger on. i'll keep at it and get a new version up soon!

i like it but it seems so flat... if you found a way to create depth with texture, maybe it'd pop out better.

version 2 up and running. i think i like where this is at actually. i don't want too much detail in crazy chef himself but i loved the suggestion for some wood grain and i think that added a lot. plus, i think the slight color changes really helped it pop out and be more interesting. what do you all think?

in fact, i just looked at version 1 again and i hate it when comparing the two.

The chef looks a lot like a ghost.You have enough colors left to play with the chef ghost to make him look transparent.

i haven't sub'd it yet so i'll mess around with that a little bit J.

Wow, wood grain and transperancy, I feel special! This is awesome, I would definately buy this.

I particularly like the pea green colour, a warm but pale green instead of the aqua, or even a warm rust type colour would be interesting to see too.
