some towering speakers in the background might be nice, silhouettes of the heads of fish standing below and in front of the DJ looking on in awe and oh yeah 2 more turntables.



I know some djs that would love something like this, I'm interested in seeing how this progresses. Good luck.

The area around the right eye seems a bit messed up but looks liek it could be a quick fix. Or maybe its just me...

Also, it might even look good without the purple.

It's a great idea, it's just a matte rof creating some "drama". I like the idea of speakers or something, but they have ot look like they're pumping. Also, dancers in the foreground (silhouettes, probably) would add to this.

I like how you've framed it in purple- that's a nice touch.

Redid the whole thing, added some shading and detail. I'm going for the "I get my fashion tips from 80's Math Books" look. Don't want to add other stuff in just yet

Turned down the saturation a little bit, and added a new tentacle (there were only 7! oops!)



I think the color contrast is a bit too harsh. Should I keep framing the design in a blob/colored shape or just put it on the shirt?

Just put it on the shirt--threadless isn't into framing designs, trust me I was rejected for it. I love it though. I think the final product will look awesome!:)

Got rid of the blob and changed the shirt color. Do I keep the long cords or get rid of them?



I'm considering yellow or some other color for the shirt, but it seems as though I am splitting hairs when it comes to these small minute decisions.

Definitely my favourite so far. I like the wires going all the way down, and the shirt colour is great too.

I definitely like it better without the blob. The shirt color is good, but yellow would be cool too. Keep the long cords, that way i can pretend my crotch is the speaker.

I like the cords going all the way down, but I think if they weren't so straight I'd like 'em more. Oh and the CD (I guess that's a CD...or a lithogram) he's holding could use some detail.



Other than that...awesome concept and great execution.

Did some finishing touches. Upped the saturation a tad. Someone suggested yellow as a color (which I like too, but I'm not 100% on it)

Last one, I promise :). Lowered the design a bit, keeping the grey. This image is probably going to be what I submit to Threadless.

I really like it. I saw submit.

I'd say draw it showing each tentacle doing something, scratching, messing with the cross fader, picking out the next record that'd be cool. But that's just my opinion, cool concept.
