Get on in and create your “My Bar” page by entering in all the booze, mixers and garnishes you have at home. Then watch ExtraTasty tell you what drink recipes you can make. Submit your own recipes and tell other people how great or awful theirs are by rating them and leaving comments.
Find recipes on the site by searching by tags. Tagging allows the author of the recipe to create easier ways for people to find their recipes by tagging with words like “awesome”, “party drink” or “so good you’ll die and come back as a zombie just to make this drink for all of your zombie pals”. Traditional words such as “vodka” or “lemonade” work as well. ExtraTasty will also combine like recipes. If two different drinks have the same ingredients, all of the drinks will be listed together with the alternates listed under “Alternate ways to mix this drink”. It’s true, we thought of everything. It doesn’t stop there though. ExtraTasty allows you to link up with your friends to see what they like or don’t. See what recipes your friends have rated the highest and give them a go! Also peek into your friends’ bars to check if they have that bottle of Macallan 30 that will mysteriously go missing after your next visit. Earn bragging rights by comparing recipes to see whose are getting rated the best. But wait… there’s more. ExtraTasty will be available via SMS. (That means on your cell phone for you old people). Receive drink recommendations or search recipes from the comfort of your neighborhood bar, too-cool-for-school nightclub, or seedy strip joint.
