I'm going to dissapoint those who might expect this to be a rant on how i relate emotion and design. This blog is more a case in study where we can all participate: During the course of scoring i came across a few designs that seemed to provoke certain people (including me in the case of "More_hands_more_chocolat"!) into being quite offended and even going to the extent of trashing sometimes very innocent designs (or so we think?) The question is should design be sensitive to such beliefs and other peoples ideoligies...does a good designer mean one who is able to create interest and send a message without being provocative? OR is it just that those who judge the design should be more open minded?
