Real peices of mirror?

Glass? Sewn to a shirt?

Really?
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 12 '09
Yes. Really.

Got a problem with that?

supertrooper74 on Jan 12 '09
You could just use aluminum foil...that would be cool too.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 12 '09
i think mylar would be better than aluminum foil. it's much more resilient.

lilmichief78 on Jan 12 '09
i like it A LOT but when i saw it i didnt think 'mirror'. i had to read to find that out

this is from a song right?

nah, the song is from this.

AdderXYU on Jan 12 '09
I would die laughing if actual mirror was used for this. That'd be the best of the best.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 12 '09
don't worry, it'll be washing machine-safe mirror

it'll be a $25 shirt

nah, the song is from this.

lololol

this shirt is totally about me.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 12 '09
this shirt is a metaphor for lemonalle. it's both sour and sweet. and made from trees.
yulyul
yulyul on Jan 13 '09
cool
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 13 '09
i've decided that another option would be to have a small reflective pool of water attached to the shirt.
bcrider
bcrider on Jan 13 '09
Oooh, I think the reflective pool of water would just SELL this one. And don't worry, everyone; they make washing-machine-safe mirrors! My daughter has a baby mirror that's plastic but you can still see yourself. I think it'll be able to be a $20 shirt.

I've been doing some research and have found a type of liquid mirror that hardens into an easily bendable material. i'm sure threadless would be willing to use this.

it's sort of like what T-1000 is made from.

stop trying to trick me into commenting! I'm not going to fall for it!
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 13 '09
i would never do such a thing!
bcrider
bcrider on Jan 13 '09
Ooh, that liquid stuff sounds better; that way it form-fits to the wearer.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 13 '09
that's the idea!

you'd probably think this song is about you ! (8)

nice one

InvincibleAgent on Jan 13 '09
E looks like a W, also the design is really big.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 14 '09
the E only looks like a W because it's sideways. this shirt is meant to be looked at from all angles, so you'll have to turn your head a bit. and of course the design is big. vain people are into big things.

I like how this sub has the feel of a blog. It's homey.

You draw letters real good.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 14 '09
Thank you. I like to bring my subs down to the level of the masses. That way it doesn't seem like I'm better than everyone else, even though I probably am.
lordog
lordog on Jan 14 '09
i think the edge of the mirror should be real wood, or at least vinyl adhesive. i believe the same people who make washable mirrors also make washable vinyl adhesive.

this shirt is about me

tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 14 '09
some of the vinyl wood flooring in my neighbor's apartment is starting to peel. i'll send threadless some of hers and they can patch it on to the final product when this inevitably prints.

what does it say?

stare at it longer. you'll figure it out if you're vain enough.

Troy E. Durham on Jan 14 '09

damn, her eyebrows are THICK!

thick eyebrows are a sign of wisdom in some cultures. unfortunately, in this culture it's a sign of vanity.

simply..beautiful on Jan 14 '09
the commentary makes me laugh... so awesome
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 14 '09
the commentary can optionally be printed on the back of the shirt along with spare pieces of glass in case some of the front pieces fall off

check out my "CHUBBY" and my up coming "BeastMaster"
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 15 '09
i have no interest in seeing your chubby, nor any other part of your body. that's gross.
TheInfamousBaka
TheInfamousBaka on Jan 16 '09
I'll let you check out my chubby if they make this out of real glass and real wood.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 16 '09
preferably the wood will be attached to the shirt with real nails
bsweber
   bsweber on Jan 16 '09
love it, wondering if maybe we can get this made from two-way mirror material? that way my inner organs would be able to see out, but they'd still have their privacy.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 16 '09
that's an excellent idea. i'll email the staff about it.

also, i am very interested in the peeling vinyl "wood" on a tshirt. do you think you could submit some more designs with that in mind?

i have always thought i would love me some vinyl on mah chest.
tracerbullet
   tracerbullet on Jan 16 '09
peeling vinyl is the new UV ink. it's the latest craze.

I predict that this will be the "Ground Breaking Design" for 2009, using all new forms of printing techniques, like the Real Wood process, and Simulated Mirror technique.

Amazing, Tracerbullet, your talent astounds me! FIVE & BUY!
