Really pleased it's liked.
I'm from the UK, and we don't have target here. I can't find any target adverts on google search or on their website: as far as I can see, the similarity is that their logo is red and white, and involves a circle? |

@Akaka I'm from the UK, but that shouldn't restrict my choices, right? My inspiration comes from appreciation of another culture, and research into their aesthetics and history. I like the design, but I think it is a bit overwhelming, given the bright red colour.
Maybe by scaling it [and making it slightly smaller] you could achieve a cuter, more delicate feeling? Good luck with your submissions! |

Thanks for your input, I always appreciate constructive criticism. I do see what you mean, it is quite a heavy design against bright white. You can see it on silver grey here and I think that softens it a little. I'll bear your comments in mind when I'm improving on this design! |

When I first saw this I wondered why Sanna Annukka was entering a Threadless competiton. It sure is Finnish inspired alright. Where did you get the inspiration for this design? The shapes, flowers and birds sure look like Sanna Annukka's work, shes from Finland.

About my design
According to Finnish myth, "lintukoto" is a place on the edge of the earth where birds fly for winter, and translates as "home of the birds".
Printed in rich red ink on a silver grey, or white on red.
