About my design

by twin
"Censorship" illustrates the processes of the mainstream media, which results in a 'star-struck' and jaded society. 'We' are prescribed a social construct through censorship and politically influenced media.

Although my message is serious, I broke it down with pictograms to make it subtle and fun.

The colors are derived from old propaganda prints, particularly in the style of the Soviet's propaganda or the Futurist movement.

Speaking of propaganda…, thanks for your vote!

uh. . .so how does censorship lead to a "star-struck" audience?

I think this is more to do with TV/Media as opiate of the masses than with restricting free speach. . .

design's not bad though

I think the picture is very well done, but I don't like it presented on blue. Also, I question whether it needs to be so long (so many parts making up a long design).

The parts that work the best are the man in the tv and the radio tower next to it.

Sorry about the botched description. I wrote it around 3am. I guess there is no need to explain what I am trying to convey as it is pretty straight forward. I wish there was a cream colored shirt to put it on. Oh well. Thanks for your critiques!

I like the guy in the TV without the rest of the stuff.

Nice colors. Nice style.

I kind of understood the message but I wouldn't have connected censorship to that. I first thought that it was more along the lines of...audience ignorance, maybe. I took the first group of ding-bat-like people to be an in-studio audience who thought the man sucked, then once the program aired, people (person) loved it simply because it was on television. So I didn't really catch the censhorship part.

I love the man in the television. Him alone (or with the tower) I would definitely buy.

I totally connected censorship with it. I absolutely love, love, love this. Definitely $5

Yeah the guy in the TV would be enough, but I think some people would say "why is the guy on the tv playing with himself?"
