Take out the girl and just have the pirate ship and I'd be all over it! 3 for now as it's still a good illustration.

there is something so beautiful and awesome about this. the girl's face is just right, tho i hesitate with the anchors-- maybe they should hang from the ship? but her raggedy-ann-ness and the great colors work so well together...
i think her left hand is abit mixed up? thumb doesn't look right. but still a great great illo. |

Kind of reminds me of the Harujuko girls from Stefani's "Rich Girl" music video. I absolutely love this and I can't wait to buy it!! Only thing I'd change is her fingers and her left hand. The left hand is a bit messed up and her fingers have strange anchors coming out of them.

I really like the colors and the illustration- I would buy this, but I agree with Ellsswhere, I wouold fix the hands ^^ Overall, a 5!

Fix the hands if possible and maybe remove the anchors attachedto her fingers on her right hand.
Either way this shirt is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. A must have in my book. $5! |

pocket_penguin on Feb 18 '06 I think the colors are very nice, and I do like the concept-- but I'm a bit annoyed with how her face is done in very fine, detailed lines, and the rest of her and her ship is less, well, skilled. It looks like you copied and pasted a face into your drawing.

I like this, too, but as others have said, the hands seem a bit off. I'd also like it better if it's placement were on the lower lefthand corner.

wow i wish i coulda voted for this...
i saw it on DevArt and said "my! that would make a lovely tee." and then i read the description and almost pooped when i found out its in the running to become a tee, but apparently i missed my chance to vote. damn and blast! $5 anyways |
