I know that lots of folks are doing hands and hearts, but I gave it a fair amount of thought and decided that this design was special enough to work through and submit. I hope you agree.



Notice that the two circulatory systems are connected through the hands. I may be spelling it out a bit much when I say this, but I want to be sure that people get it: The Red Cross collects blood donations, so there's a literal aspect to this. On a more abstract level, it is a metaphor for giving strength, so this shirt can stand on its own as well.



Finally, the text is *NOT* part of the shirt, unless viewer response demands otherwise.

i like it, but i think the grey thumb should be over the white one

I love the concept. I agree with MaddieKHart about the hands though. With the gray thumb being underneath the white's, it makes it seem as if white is holding the other instead of the two being united.

it kind of grosses me out...in a very wierd way...and the hearts look a little...wonky

i think the colors are a little bit of downers for such a nice idea

ughh. do you guys ever stop and check an anatomy book before doing these? i hate all of these hearts that are drawn wrong.

As a matter of fact, I did. I took a few liberties for stylistic purposes, but as fas as I could tell, that was reasonably close to correct.
