I had seen something similar on a birthday card once that my boyfriend received from his brother, but those pinatas were all the same, and the victim was an older guy, not a kid. I like your execution of the idea a lot more. I don't know if I'd get rid of the "circle thing," as without it they'd be kind of floating in space. Maybe just getting rid of the kid's shadow would work? Or not having the ground they're standing on be a perfect circle; it could be a platform or something that fades on either side to encompass the rest of the Star Pinata's shadow?
That kid really looks like he deserves a beat-down, too. |

I've seen something like this before in a comic by Jhonen Vasquez. A girl has a pinata at her birthday party and in the middle of the night some other pinatas come in and, uh, turn her into one. Haven't seen the birthday card though.
Design-wise, not sure I like the circle, as others have said, but I do like the colors and the execution! |

I had to make an account on this site just to let you know I definitely WOULD buy this if you god rid of the whole circle/floor thing. You don't even need shadows... but I love this t-shirt otherwise.

About my design
The idea started humbly: Piñatas going to town on a kid. Several violent iterations later, we were left with the design you see before you.
